Is It Safe To Take Aten25 For High BP Due To Anxiety?

Dear Dr.

I am 48,male,healthy person.during my last medical checks, my BP was high ( 185/90).That was due to white collar hypertension.After some days, again it was checked and it was 160/90.Doctor prescribed Aten25.Is it OK ?I feel that it is because of anxiety,fear of job etc.Please advice on this !thanks from Munir

Dear Munir please understand BP is a multifactorial disease. it has many factors contributing to it like age, sex-male or female, family history, amount of salt intake, stress, life style- sedentary or active, smoking, presence or absence of exercise, obesity , eating habits etc. Your doctor has prescribed correct dose and correct medication as per your BP readings. Please make adjustments in your life style as per above risk factors and you will benefit. Regards
