Is It Safe To Take Beta Blockers For Panic Attack While Suffering From PVCs?

Hi,I have been suffering from premature ventricular contraction for the past 2 months, I made all blood tests, echo and stress test, and holter for 24 hours, all normal , the holter detected 2500 pvc s in 24 hours, I also have palpitation from time to time, I suffer from anxiety , the iron storage is 7 and myhemoglobine is 11.3. The doctor said this is panic attack and he prescribed ternomin 25 ang bilectra magnesium, started taking them for one day now but to don t see progress , please advise If I really need to take beta blockers for my case , is it easy to quite once my pvc s disappear? Please advise

You can continue bet blockers at this moment as, establishing whether they are effective or not in stopping pvcs, just in one day usage is a premature call.

Other options would have been rate limiting calcium channel blockers or amiodarone but are cosidered second line options.

In cases it settles down, they shouldn't be immediately stopped but may be continued for a while. And then trials can be given after stopping and following up with follow up EKGs that whether the problem recurred or not.
