Is It Safe To Take Bethahistine For Disturbance In Hearing On Loud Noise?

Hi, I am Qamar, Recently i have visited an ENT, i have allergy problem, and already getting medicine for allergy like nasal spray and anti allergic etc. But my i have a problem with my ears some times when i am hearing loud music or talking in loud mode or i shouting, my ear produce sound like a ruptured speaker. Doctor advise me BETAHISTINE 24 MG, is it suitable for my problem, or any other suggestion.

Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.From what you have mentioned,I want to tell that some persons have increased sensitivity to loud sounds so even some noise can cause a ringing like sensation in the ears.Also allergic rhinitis can sometimes lead to the pressure while sneezing to shift to the internal ear.
So betahistine acts both as an anti allergic and it also in minor way supresses the semicircular canals in ears resulting in relief of tinnitus in ears,
So betahistine is a good medication.
