General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Ma'am,
Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the safety of Bisoprolol.
Yes, it is safe to take Bisoprolol for heart palpitations.

Bisoprolol - a beta blocker is effective in reducing heart palpitations that occur due to rapid heart rate and ectopic beats.

As far as your dizziness and weakness are concerned, these are the side effects associated with the BP lowering effects of Bisoprolol.

You may consult your doctor to adjust the dose of Bisoprolol to minimize these side effects or use an alternate but safer drug to control the rapid heart rate and ectopic beats.

Hope to have answered your query.

Best regards.
