Is It Safe To Take CIFRAN For Flu?

Good evening, I am a 30yr old female 5.8ft height about 117 lbs. I ve had the flu since mother s day weekend. I got a multivitamin boster shot and cough syrup at a private doctor s office. Still sick and went to causality on Wednesday evening and received drips, pertherdine I think and gravol injection with prescription of zentel and cifran 500 for 5 days. I am concerned about the cifran. My symptoms were runny nose, sore throat, light headed feeling to faint, loss weight and apetite, back pains. For 3 days this week my stool was green with strange odour. The door said that he is treating me for worms because of odour but no stool test was done. I also don t have dengue. What do you think about the use of CIFRAN 500? I really think I have the flu.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi. I can understand your concern.
Cifran is a antibiotic. You are having a lung infection probably . Get a chest x ray done and consult a pulmonologist.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
