Hello, As per my clinical experience, Cabergolin is Dopamine agonist, used to control the conditions of hyperprolactin secretion in various clinical disorders. According to the US FDA agency, the Cabergolin is categorised as sceduled B group drug. It is absolutely contraindicated during pregnancy untill and unless hard and fast to give. The usual recommendations for the child bearing age females are: - Consultant must check whether the patient is pregnant or not before commencing the therapy with Cabergolin - Use simultaneous mechanical contraception during use of this drug - Should stop the drug one month before the trial of getting conceived Take care.
