General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Carbimazole is a medication commonly used to treat hyperthyroidism, including Graves' disease. This medicine reduces thyroid hormone production effectively. Creatine monohydrate is a dietary supplement often used by athletes to improve performance and increase muscle strength.

There are no well-documented interactions between creatine monohydrate and Carbimazole. However, it's important to note that individual responses to medications and supplements can vary. It would be best to consult with your healthcare provider, such as your doctor or a sports medicine specialist, to get personalized advice based on your specific medical condition and needs.

They can evaluate your overall health, review your medication regimen, and consider any potential interactions or risks. They may be able to guide the safe use of creatine monohydrate while taking carbimazole, taking into account factors such as your thyroid function and any other medical conditions you may have.

As interactions can occur, it's always important to be cautious when combining medications and supplements. Consulting with a healthcare professional is the best way to ensure your safety and receive accurate advice tailored to your specific situation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. If you require a personalized response, kindly use the Ask A Doctor service and post a follow-up query.
