Is It Safe To Take D-mannose For Treatment Of UTI Along With Cardiac Medications?
My husband is a cardiac patient. He is in Ammiodarone, Plavix, Eliqus, Corey 3.25, Lisinopril 2.5 mg. But he has a history of 14 UTI’s in the last 24months. He was recently hospitalized with encephalopathy caused from the numerous UTI’s and antibiotics. A nurse told me to use D-Mannose - I’m concerned if that is safe with his heart medications?Thank You Robin G

As per my clinical experience, the D-mannose can be consumed with the cardiac medications, but the sugar level may be an issue in some cases.
