Is It Safe To Take Deriphyllin And Montair For Bronchitis?

My wife is suffering from Bronchitis or may be asthmatic bronchitis. She is on drug deriphyllin retard 300 Twice daily (Morning & evening) & Montair 10 (Montelukast Sodium Tab IP 10mg) at bed time for the past few months.Can u suggest how long Deriphyllin retard 300 & Montair 10 is safe to cake continuously ?Can your reply be mailed at YYYY@YYYY .Thanks,Nand Lal Pamnani

As you have asked I will say both deriphylline and montelukast are very safe drugs if to take for long duration of time as far as treatment of bronchitis is concerned. Apart from these medicines what your wife is taking recently if the problem is severe enough she can also use duolin or asthalin inhaler 2 puffs twice daily. Instruct her to avoid contact with dust and other allergens as much possible as she can.
