Is It Safe To Take Ella After Taking Plan-B?
I took plan b yesterday morning after having unprotected sex the night before. From doing research, I see that ella is more effective when you are ovulating. I am on my third day of ovulation. I haven t had sex in over two years, therefore I am not on any sort of birth control pills. Would it be okay to take ella after I have taken the plan b?

Plan B contraceptive acts by postponing ovulation and thus, prevents pregnancy with unprotected sex within 72 hours of sex. I don't think you need to add Ella after plan B.

In short: Yes, it is ok to take Ella after taking Plan B. Whether or not Ella will have an effect when you are in the middle of ovulation is another matter. It is, however, safe. In order to prevent unwanted pregnancy, I advice that you do not engage in unprotected sex during your ovulation, which is your most fertile period.
