Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got femtrace 0.9 mg for 21 days and 5 mg medroxyprogesteron for 7 days. i took for 2 weeks only femtrace and the 3rd week i took booth of them the 4th week i got my period. it worked wery well but no more femtrace. i want to ask you can i take replace femtrace to estrace and do the same way before?
Estrace contains estradiol, a female natural sex hormone called estrogen that is used in the treatment of post menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching or burning, hot flashes etc. Estrace is a safe and effective medication for vaginal vaginal discomfort due to menopause. Similarly, Femtrace also contains estradiol like Estrace that is also used in the treatment of symptoms of menopause. So, both Estrace and Femtrace contains estradiol and work in the same way. So anyone can take Estrace instead of Femtrace and it will be as effective as Femtrace.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician,
