Is It Safe To Take Finasteride And Minoxidil For Hair Loss?

Hi.. I am having hair loss and as suggested my determatologist I was having the treatment of Finasteride 1 Mg, minoxidil 5%, adgain, mesotherapy (once a month) since 2 years. I stopped this 6 month back and I was happy with my hair I was not having hair loss during there 6 months. One of the reasons that I gave up this treatment is that I recently got married and would like to know if I start taking this treatment of Fina sterile, adgain and minoxidil will there be any side effect, since I ve heard that there are side effects of finasteride and minoxidil. Please advise

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Male pattern Baldness can occur due to genetic predisposition and also due to androgenic hormones as the androgenic hormones causes destruction of hair follicles leading to hair thinning and hairall..

The treatment that you have taken that is Minoxidil lotion is the most commonly given treatment as it helps in increasing blood flow in the area and helps in reducing hairfall..

Finesteride helps in suppressing androgenic hormone and limit hair all..
Although it has a side effect of causing temporary loss of libido and therefore as the drug intake is stopped the libido will be regained..
Therefore it has to be taken intermittently ater consulting a Trichologist..

You can re start application of Minoxidil lotion as well as Finesteride intake but only after consulting a Trichologist.
You can also start taking Biotin and Multivitamin supplements..
Take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits..
