Hello, Thanks For writing. Deriphyllin is the mainstay of treatment in mild asthma and its being used since generations. Foracort is a inhaled steroid and advisable for moderate to severe asthma but along with this Deriphyllin is always advisable and u can take plain Deriphyllin in tds dose. Many Deriphyllin sustained release formula are available for single dose. Doxophyllin is another salt from same group but very less side effect.
