Is It Safe To Take I Pill To Prevent Pregnancy Post Unprotected Sex?
Yesterday i have sex with my girlfriend but i dint releasd my sperm in to her vagina at the time when sperm is relasing i removd my penis so is ther any problem of causing pregnency , whether is it required to take ipill ? Is any futher problms occurs by taking ipill ?
The chance of pregnancy is less since sperm release into the vagina may not have occurred. In case of any anxiety regarding sperm spillage, I would suggest your girl friend to take I-pill within 72 hours of sexual intercourse. A single dose is safe and does not cause any serious side effects and hence you can take the drug without any issue.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
