Is It Safe To Take Parit Tablets During Pregnancy?

I am 3 months pregnant,IVF conceived and I have been suggested by an ENT doctor to take Parit tablets.I have got some throat infection due to acidity.Should I take the tablet?I am taking progynova,folic acid tablet and gestone injection for my pregnancy.Kindly help.

hi,parit is rabeprazole.i would like to correct you that it is not for throat infection but for acidity and reflux.it is an fda approved category b drug ie no proven risks in humans so its safe in pregnancy without having any adverse effect on the fetus.continue with gemstone,progynova and folic acid.all the best and take care.
