Is It Safe To Take Phenergan During Pregnancy When Having Excessive Saliva?

Am 7 weeks pregnant with my second child and am very nauseated, with the first pregnancy I was very sick the entire nine months where I could not keep water down. So with this one now my doctored prescribed phenergan 3x a day but i am also suffering from excess saliva is phenergan good to take and will it help with the saliva problem as we'll?

Phenergan is a Class C drug not associated with birth defects but there are still a lot of studies that need to be done.
Whenever you take prescription drugs in pregnancy the benefits should outweigh the risks.
