Is It Safe To Take Probiotic And Garcinia Cambogia Extract Pills For Nursing Mothers?
hello doctor my name is belen. i have a question, i would like to know if taking natural daily cleanse with probiotic and the native gacinia cambogia extract can affect my baby since i am still nursing? can i take the pills or is not safe for my baby?
Use of probiotic is considered to be safe for the infants in breastfeeding mothers. There is no known contra-indication of probiotics for use in breast feeding mothers. However, use of garcinia cambogia is not recommended in breast feeding mothers. Its passage in mother's milk may cause loss of appetite, increased metabolic rate as well as low blood sugar in infants. Also, it has no known beneficial lactating effect on the mothers. Lack of research on the side effects of this product is also a reason for its disapproval in lactating mothers.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
