General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

He should have fresh brain imaging for any signs of cerebral atrophy etc and to rule out other causes of dementia or motor function abnormalities like infarcts etc. Neurological examination by a neurologist and treatment of motor deficit may be needed Including metabolic profile, micro-nutrients like vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiencies and corrections if any as well physiotherapy can be helpful. Extrapyramidal side effects of psychiatric medicine should also be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
