Is It Safe To Take Reese S Pinworm Treatment For A Faster Result?

my 9 year old daughter just found out that she has pinworms and she just took a dose of reese pinworm treatment today (thursaday) we all took a treatment of the pinworm treatment even though my 9 year old is the only one with systems. We also washed everything in hot water. How long will the medicine take to work?

The single dose is used and have to be taken by all three members of the family. I would have suggested you to repeat the dose again after two weeks, to address any reinfection.
As eggs remain infective for up to three weeks in a moist environment, practicing good hygiene will help reduce the spread of the parasites.
Hand washing after handling bedding, diapers, underwear, and other items that may contain the infective pinworm eggs will also help. Cleaning under the fingernails and not biting the fingernails will also help reduce the chance of contacting the parasites.
