Is It Safe To Take Sarms Ostarine MK2688?

Hi, ive recently been introduced by a friend to something called Sarms Ostarine MK2688. It binds to the receptors and stops muscle wasting and can help with lean muscle mass gains. It is apparently used for cancer patients etc to stop muscle wasting. Do you know anything about it? Human tests have been done at 3mg daily, however the dosage ive been told is 20mg. Can you tell me anything about it? if its safe to take etc? this may be new to you so im unsure if you will know. thanks

I can appreciate your concern for the safety of Ostarine (MK 2688) while being used to increase the lean muscle mass.

Ostarine (MK-2688) is a Selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) which binds to the androgen receptor and demonstrates bone & muscular anabolic activity. It is recommended for the prevention and treatment of muscle wasting.

Since it is currently undergoing clinical trials it is too early to predict whether it is safe and effective for muscle wasting or to increase the lean muscle mass. Since its safety and efficacy has not been proved on large mulitcentric trials therefore FDA has not approved it for the purpose of preventing muscle wasting or to increase the lean muscle mass.

So, I would advise you to wait till the post marketing surveillance is done and the FDA clears its use for the purpose mentioned above.
