Is It Safe To Take St. John S Wort And Adderall Together?
Just wondering if St. John s Wort and Adderall would be o.k. to take together. My granddaughter is 15 and pretty tied in knots. Not sure of the dose of Adderall she is on, and she is seeing a councilor ?? Just looking for a easier way to go than some of the drugs they might put her on.

It's a little bit bad. St. John's lowers the ability of the liver to metabolize medications and in general, they accumulate.
Adderall has a different method of being eliminated than most other livers metabolized drugs and I'm doubtful this applies to this drug.
Drug levels in the blood can be tested to see that it is safe. On the other hand, there are better drugs out than St. Johns.
