Is It Safe To Take Synthroid Instead Of Levothyroxine?
I have been dizzy lately and every test I had done did not show anything abnormal I am 82 years old and had a Thyroidectomy several years ago. Could it be possible that the Generic meds are not helping me anymore and I need to take the name brand again? I am taking Levrothyroxine - would it be better to ask to take Synthroid in its place?

Generic medicines and brand medicines have some difference in there potency. If you feels that drugs are not effective than you can either increase dose of levothyroxin or can swith to any brand medicine. Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question.
