General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Tranostat is a medicine facilitating blood clotting, thus, arresting bleeding. Oral contraceptive with Tranostat act synergistically most of the time, once bleeding is controlled. The hormonal imbalance can be managed with oral contraceptive pills. Having no apparent combination problem, you can follow the medications according to your doctor's advise, there is no bad effect, while under expert care.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
