Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a low grade fever for a week now. I'm using inhaler for bronchitis that is approved for use with someone who has A-Fib. I also take Eliquis 5mg twice a day and Cardizem 350mg once a day. My doctor is out of the office until Monday. My temperature has gone up from 100 - 101 to 103. My question: Will taking Tylenol a time or 2 to help get my temperature in check have any life threatening acute side effects? Or, was I told never to take it, just as a precautionary measure to prevent possible chronic side effects?
