Is It Safe To Take Xanax 12 Hours After Taking Methadone?
Hello I had taken 20mg methadone at 630 this morning is now 630pm I was wondering if it was safe to take my regular dose of 2mg xanax? I usually take hydrocodone 10/325 2x daily not methadone but I m in different state and accidently left pain med behind. I have a high tolerance to my pain medicine and xanax but Would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks

Brief: its safe to take xanax after methadone.
Detail: xanax can be safely taken 12 hours after methadone. There is no serious drug interaction between the two. However you have to be cautious while driving or doing heavy machinery work as there can be additive drowsiness due to both medicines.
