Is It Safe To Take Contraceptive Pills To Prevent Pregnancy?
hello Dr, i have a querry....i am 27yr old and have recently got married, not planning a baby now..i am a B- and my husband is a A+, can there be problems for me if I plan a pregnancy or while I am pregnant? Is is safe to take contraceptive pills or we stick to other safety measures?
There will be no problem for you in conceiving or even during pregnancy. You just need to go for an indirect combo test. Taking oral contraceptives for a long period of time may affect your periods. It's better to take other safety measures like condoms or I-pill within 72 hours after having intercourse.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
