Is It Safe To Take Cycloreg 5 Mg 3times A Day?

i am going to get married on 3rd dec. as my would be wife has been told by a doctor to take cycloreg 5 mg 3times in a day from 25nov onwards to avoid the periods during marriage. kindly let me know is it safe to take it for this long with 3 dosed in a day. my would be wife s age is 21.

Hello,

It is progesterone, a hormone which is naturally secreted in body, pill. You need to start 7 days prior to expected date of cycle and continue it daily for as long as she wants to delay her menses. After she stops the pills, then in next 7 days she should be resuming her menses again. If you use this medication occasionally, there are not much problems, safe to use. Mild side effects are seen in few like headache, nausea.
