Is It Safe To Take Ipill After An Unprotected Sex?
Hi,
I am 30 years olad and I want to find out if taking an ipill for the first time can be dangerous? I had unprotected sexual intercourse less than 24 hours ago and my partner is not sure if any of his semen entered my vagina. Is it okay to use this pill as a one off emergency case and would I need to consult a gyno before I take this pill?

In my opinion, one should have knowledge of safe period before planning for I-pill, in a cycle of 28 days 14 days are safe counting from day 1 of period, like 7 days before and 7 days after your periods count from day 1 of periods. I pill only cause irregular periods for some days or month, one should have a good knowledge about her .menstrual cycle before doing intercourse. Definitely, if you take an I pill frequently it means you are making your cycle irregular and your fertility can be affected. It's name is emergency contraceptives pill, this contain high dose of hormone that causes withdrawal bleeding and make your menstrual cycle irregular.
