Is It Safe To Take Medicine A Bit Late After Dexamethasone Suppression Test Done?

I have to get Labs done the test is called Dexamethasone Suppression test and I need to take a pill at 12:00am and the blood has to be taking by 8:00am, but I m not able to get it ,by then,so is it possible to take the pill at a later time as long as it s in alright hour time frame.

Sorry but you cannot do it that way even if you get the time frame right. The dexamethasone suppression test is related to your body's production of cortisol hormone. Cortisol hormone is produced at different levels according to the time of the day. So the exact time prescibed by your doctor for taking the pill and for drawing the blood for test is of paramount importance as it can affect your result. Thank you. Good day.
