Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely GERD only.Due to continues acid reflex there develops irritation and inflammation of throat. In such condition for my patients i advise proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and antiemetic domperidone for 4 weeks.Nexium also helps,it is esomeprazole also a proton pump inhibitor.I also recommend them to take Vitamin C.If secondary infection is present in throat then i advise antibiotics like azithromycin. With all these usually they get full recovery.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
