Is It Safe To Undergo MRI IAM With Contrast Examination?

Hi, I've to have an 'MRI IAM with contrast Both' examination carried out and I'm really concerned as I had a very bad reaction to a myelogram over 40 years ago (for which I got no explanation - and a subsequent rerun in a different hospital I'd been referred to couldn't be carried out as there was no dye in the spinal column). I'm really scared that I could suffer another episode like I had then.

Well come to HCM
If you have a history of sensitivity for dye, then care need to be taken at this time too, and it is advisable to get done the test without dye (Contrast) or need to go for possible option depends upon the clinical condition you have, as such you have not mention anything about your clinical complaints, hope this information helps, take care
