Is It Safe To Undergo Facial Hair Removal Treatments During Pregnancy?
I have major facial hair and was wondering if it will increase during pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy. I am 43 years old and wish there was a way to permanently get rid of it, it s embarrassing and expensive and I feel I can t live a normal life or do certain activities or have long lasting relationships. Please help.
You have mentioned your age and also this is your first pregnancy. I am very sure, this is a precious pregnancy for you. Pregnancy is a physiological state where female hormones are on the rise throughout the period.
All the pregnancy changes are usually feminine and facial hair does not particularly grow during pregnancy. You can use conventional and non invasive methods like threading. Many health care providers recommend avoiding laserhair removal during pregnancy because of the lack of information about the effect on the fetus.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
