Is It Safe To Undergo Surgery For Macular Degeneration In An Elderly Person?

my grandmother has high blood pressure and she just found out that she also has macular degeneration...she is 86 and she has had macular degeneration for some time now. Can she have surgery for macular degeneration with high blood pressure?? Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, very inadequate history given here macular degeneration not being describe in detail, or in specific, (clinical symptoms ) for any surgery if this is important one then surgical team and physician take care of blood pressure and surgery can only be possible when patient well qualified for this, hope this information helps, take care.
