Is It Safe To Use Altris Gel For Hairfall?
Hi Doctor, I am 35years old women, weighing 44 kgs. Recently I observed quite a number of white hairs on my head and i m also suffering from acute hairfall. My dermatologist prescribed Altris gel for 3 months. Is it safe to use and will give good result. Please suggest what to do. Thanks a lot in advance.

Greying of hair occurs when the melanin of a particular hair follicle is permanently exhausted.Premature greying of hair is attributed to many factors like diet,nutrition, UV rays, pollution, cosmetics/dyes/colors, genetics, medications etc.
Altris gel contains Melitane,a new molecule which has shown good results in premature greying of hair. It should be used for atleast 3 months to appreciate some good results. As far as I know it is very safe to use with almost no side effects. I am afraid it wont be helpful for reducing hairfall, for which you need to use either minoxidil or some peptides likes capixgyl etc.
I would also advise you biotin and calcium pantothenate combination tablets for atleast 6-8 months which can help in reversing greying of hair.
A novel hair sunscreen cum hair serum Q sera black can be used in daytime as it has shown good results in prevention of hair damage from sun and pollution.
Take plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and try to de-stress your lifestyle.
