Is It Safe To Use Kenalog For Allergic Rhinitis And Chronic Sinusitis?
I was given a steroid injection directly into my nose for allergic rhinitis and chronic sinusitis. Three rounds of antibiotics plus one round of oral steroids (prednisone) did not clear up the infection. The ENT felt strongly it was due to uncontrolled allergies. I believe the injected steroid was kenalog. How safe is this? He did allergy testing too and I was allergic to all but 5 items in the panel! Nasal steroid sprays and Claritin were not working.

As per my clinical experience, the Kenalog is containing Triamcinolone. The Kenalog is moderate to severe cortico-steroid used for conditions of allergy, sinusitis, rhinitis and others. When used under the guidance and follow up of your consultant, it is of no side effect.
