Is It Safe To Use Levothyroxine For Thyroid?

i am on levohyroxin & my dr doesn t like generic drugs my thyroid test was low & he gave me samples for the drug for thyroid not generic. What is your opinion of generic drugs. I was not drinking enough water with the pill and i read you need 1 glass flu with the pill. maybe that was why it was low.

hello, you were given levothyroxin because your thyroid function test would have shown that you must be having hypothyroidism. There is no much difference between generic drug and branded except the cost, generic drugs are cheaper. Generic drug does not come in combinations as branded drugs. Using generic drug is nowhere less potent than branded. So you can use generic drug itself. It is better to drink plenty of water after taking the tablet.
