I have bought mometasone furoate cream just before 10 mins, the thing is it was not prescribed by the doctor .it was given to me by an medical stores man,can it reduce scars on the face ?i have got a road accident,i had a big scar on my fore head.plzz help me sir

Hi!! Mometasone is not the medicine for treatment of scar as it won't reduce it. Instead application of mometasone cream on face for prolonged period can lead to various side effects like thinning of the skin, redness and pimples. You should not apply this medicine on facial scar.
