Is It Safe To Use Tri Cyclen Lo 28 Instead Of Tri Cyclen Lo?

Hi Ive switch my birth control from tri cyclin lo to tricira lo 28. Can there be symptoms like spotting and another period? Because that is that is happening. From what I understood from my pharmacist, is that they have the same medicinal properties. its been only the 2nd week of the new pills.

Tricira Lo 28 contains both ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate that is used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. Like Tri Cyclen, this medication has some side effects of its own like missed, delayed or prolonged menstrual periods, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods, irregular periods, vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding and many more.

Similarly, Tri Cycken Lo also contains ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate that is also used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. As the both contraceptive pills contain the same ingredients, so you can take any one of them.
