Is It Safe To Use Dologel-ct During Pregnancy For Mouth Ulcer?

My wife has developed a mouth ulcer...a Dr. friend of mine asked me use Dologel-CT. Upon buying the gel, i read the instructions and it says do not swallow. I'm unable to connect with my doc. can you pls. tell me if it is advisable to use it. just conceived..

Hi and welcome to HCM.

Dologel CT contains lidocaine hydrochloride 2 % and choline salicylate 8.7 %.
This gel is contraindicated in pregnancy.

If mouth ulcers are too much try rinsing with warm salty water and contact a doctor for help.
