Is It Safe To Use Salicylic Acid Near Eyes?

I have syringomas on the corner of both eyes. They do not hurt but are gradually growing. I have no intention of trying laser surgery. I have received a lot of suggestions ranging from salicylic acid to castor oil ang glycerine. Is it safe to use salycylic acid near the eyes? What remedy do you suggest?
