Is It Serious To Have Lump At The Back Of Skull And Experiencing No Other Symptoms?
my 18 year old son called me from his dorm . he had a ball/lump on the back of his skull the size of a "bounce ball". should i be worried… he said its been there for about two week.s No headaches, no blurry vision… just a bump.. but he is worried
Welcome to HCM. Lump in the back of skull is most likely to be enlarged occipital lymph node. It usually enlarge due to drainage after some inflammation and infection in the head to neck region. It might be enlarge after some blunt injury if he had history of injury. Get examined by your doctor to find out the exact cause.
