Is It Signs Of HIV If I Have Headache, Fever, Rash, Stomach Pain After Protected Sex?

Hi Doctor,
3 weeks ago i had a protected vaginal sex for no more than 1 minute with an african CSW. I Believe the condom could of broke as she jumped off me as soon as I make cum. Condom looked OK, but did not check throughly (top could of come off)
6-7 days later I had 4 days of server headache made worse with moving my eyes. I had one lymphnode on the back of my head (oppicatal (sp) ) and one in my left groin. I had low fever up to 38.3 (although was taking codine for headache). 4 days later the headache and mild fever went and lymphnodes went done. I went to the doctor who did CBC coming back as low wbc (slightly) and malaria film inconclusive. The next day I had sore throat, which did not hinder my day, this lasted for 5 days. I also had very faint rash on flanks and back, made worse in cold skin condition, this rash is still here today.
following the sore throat I had 2-3 days of low grade fever (37.3-37,8) this subsided then I got pain in my stomach for 3 days below breast bone and some times to right and left near the ribs.
I have been tired than normal, but I have had a lot of stress and anxiety. Stomach pain was relieved in 1 day by taking opramazole (sp).
I will test for HIV but away from a Dr until January.

I fully understand your anxiety and your situation.

First of all there is no absolute guarantee that protected vaginal sex will completely prevent STD BUT it reduces the chances to a very low level.

SINCE you are complaining of all these symptoms, i think that you are a little bit worried and i would suggest a HIV PCR TEST which can give a result within 2 weeks of infection,so that you can be completely sure that you have not contracted this disease.

A routine test would not be positive as you will be probably in the window period.
