Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got stung by a scorpion this morning. I live in Georgia, where scorpions are not very venomous. My leg hurts pretty badly, however, and I am fatigued. My bf put some tobacco on the sting when it happened and we cleaned/bandaged the wound. I do not know whether or not to get treatment. What should I do?

the most dangerous effect of scropian bite is heartblock. but as you mentioned the scropian are not much venomous, this isnt the problem with you. but you should start with cetrizine, and prednisolone tablets. clear the wound with betadine. apply the bandage over it.
