Is It To Be Concerned About Child Having Abnormal Stools?
my two year old son gets spouts of sticky poos that he could go 6 to 7 times a day,it happens at least once a month for 7 days or more. his bum gets really really sore.hes had blood tests for anemia and celiac and they were clear,what could the problem be?

Abnormal stools,specially if they have bad odor may be due to Giardiasis.
Treatment with metronidazole will be helpful.
Sporolac orally once may help.
Zn-20 once daily prevent recurrent diarrhea.
Any soothing ointment locally give relief from sore bum.
