Is It To Be Concerned About Leaky Heart Valve And Hypo Tension During Pregnancy?
i am 23 weeks pregnant. i have a leaky heart valve and hypotension from before i got pregnant. i am not and have never been on heart medication for either of these conditions. recently, i have been getting very dizzy, naseaus, my heart has been pounding and my vision goes blurry. is this something i should get checked out? everything i read says that all of these things are normal.

I understand your problem, dear you should consult your doctor immediately including cardiologist, leaky heart valves are usually tolerable during pregnancy but some times they may cause trouble during pregnancy , as in pregnancy cardiac output and plasma volume increases and other physiological changes occcurs which changes NYHA grade to higher one and pregnant female also prone to develop cardiac failure and pulmonary oedema.
