Is It To Be Concerned About The After Effects Retinal Detachment Surgery?
HI...my fiancee had a retinal detachment surgery on 9th dec 2010,with silicone oil, which was removed in may 2011.after that his vision is6/24 and not improving. he also had baragge done for other eye. his is myope with -10.5 for both eyes. he is 28yrs. what are the chances of re detachment ? any issues with married life? how normal will be his life?

It is a case of high myopia with RD repaired.
He has got a good vision no doubt after RD repair. Further improvement is not always expected in such cases.
Myopia can be genetically transmitted in off springs.
