Is Itching A Side Effects Of Prislosec Medicines?
After an uper GI exam my Doctor prescribed Prilosec few days after start taken this medication I start itching specially on my arms and chest, how can this be possible? I call my Doctor and he want me to stop taking the Prilosec and start taken Pepcid AC 10mg

Prilosec is a very safe drug . I have used it on many of my patients without any complaints . But reaction can happen to any drug . So you may be allergic to Prilosec , so you developed Itching .
Also allergic reactions can be mild to fatal . So it is not advisable to continue Prilosec . Pepcid AC is a different drug but has the same effect and hence you can take it .
