Hello, Perimenopause causes multiple symptoms, but itching in the groin region is unlikely to be due to that. This may be either due to allergy or tinea infection (Tinea cruris) a type of fungal infection of epidermis. You can control that by application of skin creams containing clotrimazole plus steroid. Also oral fluconazole 150 mg once a week for 8 weeks may be needed. Thanks
