My mother age 59 yrs has been diagnosed by doctors and multiple connective tissue disorder has been detected. Yesterday after dinner and as per doctor s advice, she took tablet CELLMUNE 500 mg. After taking this tablet she is facing severe pain in both legs(starting from knee till toe). Can you please suggest is this medicine okay to continue ?
Yes, knee pain can be a side effect of Cellmune drug.
Used primarily in the prevention of organ rejection in patients receiving kidney, liver or transplants and secondarily in the treatment of certain mixed connective disorders.
Her treating doctor needs to be consulted to adjust the dose of Cellmune or to prescribe an alternate effective drug for her multiple connective tissue disorder.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
