Is Laser Treatment Advisable For Skin Pigmentation Problems?

Hi Doctor,
I have development some pigmentation on my face which made the color on my face to dark. I went to Angels clinic for color improvement treatment and they suggested laser treatment for 5 siggings. I am very new to this subject and doesnt know anyone who had already undergone to this kind of treatment. Please suggest me whether it is safer and will give better results without any side effects. Thanks in advance.
